The installation work on the window glass presents a dilemma about living issues. The installation's visual impact prompts the audience to reflect on the values of life.
In the connecting part of the gallery, another installation depicts a trap - the notion that the "importance of life" is akin to a game of cheese and mouse, designed to shift our perception of what truly matters in life.
The question is: "Is it worth spending 10-20 years or most of one's energy pursuing the same dream?"
Property ownership has been a hotly debated social issue. A recent poll (2012) found that 43% of locals consider it the most important life goal. Another survey showed that 60% of youth prioritize saving to buy a flat over a 10-year period.
Is this the sole focus for many? Or is it a trap that diverts us from deeper questions about the future and our dreams? How should we reevaluate our priorities and consider the meaning of life?
The key is to encourage the audience to examine societal pressures and norms critically, and to reflect on what truly matters to them as individuals. The art installations aim to provoke deeper contemplation about life's values and the pursuit of one's dreams.
